Portlets Included
News feed & document viewing portlet - A fully configurable news feed portlet using the RSS (Real Simple Syndication) XML standard. In conjunction with the ViewsFeed Configurator, you can now display a list of documents from any Domino database in your portal. Once you select an item from the news feed, you will see the item displayed in that same portlet.
Cooperative news feed portlet with document view portlet - One of the more powerful features of portals is the ability to have one portlet cooperate with another. The Cooperative News Feed Portlet allows you to display any configured feed from the ViewsFeed Configurator (or an external feed) and display the selected news item in a cooperative portlet on the same portal page. This allows you to view the news feed in one portlet and read the news items in another portlet.
Search Portlet - Full-text search a Domino database using the search portlet. Similar in function to the News Feed Portlet, this portlet allows you to enter your search criteria and results are returned in a standard RSS XML format, from which you can then choose to view individual items.
Calendar Portlets - This set of portlets allows you to display a calendar in your portal using a standard Notes Mail or Shared Calendar template database or custom database as the source, configured in the ViewsFeed Configurator database. You can display the calendar in 2 formats and view the calendar entry in a cooperative portlet.
Document Viewer Portlet - This portlet allows you to choose from a list of documents in a Domino database (as configured in the ViewsFeed Configurator database) and display that single document in the portlet. It's very useful for displaying help or instructional information related to other portlets on the portal page or a featured news item, for example.
